Port Columbus International Airport (CMH)
Airport Information

(Columbus, Ohio - OH, USA)

Located in the center of Ohio, Port Columbus International Airport (CMH) is one of the busiest airports in the state and is served by around a dozen airlines, making ticket prices very competitive. The airport itself is situated around 7 miles / 10 km northeast of the city of Columbus and close to the outlying suburbs of Bexley, Blacklick, Gahanna, Reynoldsburg and Whitehall.

Port Columbus Airport serves a region of more than 20 million people, handling approximately one third of that figure every year and contributing literally millions of dollars to the local economy. Worth noting, the adjacent and aptly named Airport Golf Course dates back to 1966 and borders the Big Walnut Creek, being popular with passengers who have time on their hands.

Options for getting to your hotel and downtown Columbus are good, with buses, shuttles, taxis and limousines all running throughout the day and night. Public buses run from the Departures level to downtown, while shuttles and hotel courtesy buses also depart frequently.

Nearby, the city's Ohio State University is easy to reach, being home to over 50,000 students and even its own small airport.
